The UL/FM OS&Y Gate Valve with Supervisory Switch (Flanged) is a high-performance isolation valve designed for automatic fire sprinkler and fire protection piping systems. Manufactured by PARATECH Korea under the Fesco brand, the valve combines dependable shut-off performance with continuous supervisory monitoring, ensuring the operational integrity of fire protection systems.

The valve features an Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) stem design, allowing operators to visually verify whether the valve is in the fully open or closed position. This visible stem movement provides an additional level of operational safety and makes routine inspection and maintenance easier for facility personnel.

An integrated supervisory switch continuously monitors the valve position and sends an electrical signal to the building fire alarm or supervisory control system whenever the valve is moved from its normal operating position. This helps identify unauthorized operation or accidental valve closure before system performance is affected, ensuring continuous compliance with fire protection requirements.

Designed with flanged-end connections, the valve provides secure installation in fire protection piping networks and is suitable for both new construction and retrofit projects. Its robust construction, precision machining, and corrosion-resistant materials contribute to long service life, reliable sealing performance, and minimal maintenance requirements.
