Ecotherm technology transfers hot water heat using a spiral flat heating coil placed at the bottom of the heating tank

High Capacity Water Heater" used in ECOTHERM's industrial and commercial applications is a high-quality product line. All components are made of high-quality stainless steel at the ECOTHERM headquarters manufacturing facility in Austria. The patented spiral flat heating coil is used in the High Capacity Water Heater model EHSF. Thanks to its flat design (12cm high), the heat exchanger is always placed in the coldest area of the tank (at the bottom). This ensures highly efficient heat transfer and also produces the most hygienic hot water source. Based on the spiral design with an area of up to 18m2, the heat exchange surface can be arranged in a single layer.

Conventional heating coils

Conventional heat exchangers are always in mixing temperature zones from 10°C to 60°C and thus have a reduced heat transfer rate. During the heating phase heating coils produce circulations in the storage tank and need more primary energy. The available standby volume is usually only about 70% of the capacity of the storage tank.

ECOTHERM Spiral Flat Heating Coils

The patented spiral heating coil is mounted horizontally at the bottom of the storage tank. It is 100% in the cold water zone, respectively only in one temperature zone. The installation directly above the tank bottom and the low height (13cm) allow an almost complete heating of the storage tank.
