The Flamco Flamcomat Starter Main Vessel serves as the primary expansion vessel within the Flamcomat automatic pressurisation and degassing system, providing reliable expansion volume management and stable pressure maintenance for large closed-loop HVAC installations. It is specifically designed for applications where continuous pressure stability and efficient air removal are essential, including hotels, resorts, hospitals, schools, commercial buildings, convention centres, and other large facilities.

The vessel is manufactured in accordance with EN 13831 for capacities from 100L to 600L and is suitable for closed-loop heating (Heating) and chilled water (Cooling) systems designed in accordance with EN 12828. It is compatible with systems operating at working pressures of 3, 6, 8, or 10 bar and is suitable for maximum system flow temperatures of 120°C.

As part of the Flamcomat Starter system, the main vessel contributes to a complete hydronic solution by supporting automatic expansion control, automatic pressure maintenance, and system-wide degassing. The integrated pressurisation and degassing process helps maintain stable operating conditions while improving overall system efficiency and reliability.

The system utilizes Flamco's step-pressure degassing process, which continues to remove dissolved and entrained air even when the hydronic system is operating under stable conditions. By combining controlled pressure reduction with automatic degassing, the system helps reduce corrosion, improve heat transfer, minimize pump cavitation, and extend the service life of HVAC equipment.

The vessel is suitable for systems using glycol-based antifreeze solutions up to 50% and complies with both the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). The exterior is protected with a durable RAL 3002 red epoxy powder coating for long-term corrosion resistance.

The Flamcomat Starter Main Vessel is supplied with a degassing unit, height-adjustable support feet, and a weight sensor. Flexible system connections and hoses between the pump unit and the expansion vessel are available separately to accommodate different installation requirements.
