The ONICON FT-3500 is an insertion electromagnetic flow meter designed for measuring conductive liquids across a wide range of HVAC, commercial and municipal water applications. The system combines flow measurement with optional thermal energy measurement, providing a flexible solution for applications that require both flow and energy data.

The meter supports BACnet/IP and MODBUS RS485 communication together with analog, pulse and high-frequency outputs, allowing measured data to be integrated into BMS and building energy management systems.

Its proprietary hot-tap insertion design allows the sensor to be installed or removed from an operating pipeline without shutting down the water flow. The FT-3500 is available for pipe sizes from 1¼" to 72", making it suitable for both retrofit projects and large water distribution systems.

Typical applications include chilled water, hot water, domestic water, condenser water, water/glycol and municipal water. With factory configuration, wet calibration and no moving parts, the FT-3500 is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance.
