The P1-10K-150 Grooved Pre-action & Deluge Valve is a high-performance fire protection control valve engineered for pre-action and deluge sprinkler systems utilizing grooved piping. In pre-action sprinkler systems, the valve works together with the fire detection system to admit water into the sprinkler piping only after a confirmed fire signal is received. This operating principle helps prevent accidental water discharge and provides additional protection for facilities containing valuable equipment or water-sensitive assets.

In deluge fire protection systems, the valve opens immediately upon receiving an activation signal, allowing water to flow simultaneously through all open sprinklers or spray nozzles. This rapid-response operation makes the valve suitable for protecting high-hazard areas where immediate fire suppression is required.

The grooved-end connection design significantly reduces installation time compared with conventional flanged piping systems.
