Nghe An General Friendship Hospital Project Overview

The Nghe An General Friendship Hospital is the largest healthcare facility in Nghe An province. With a total area of 9.9 hectares and an initial investment of 1,191 billion VND, this modern, 700-bed hospital was built to replace an outdated, overcrowded facility. Located on Le Nin Boulevard in Vinh City, the new 8-story hospital (plus basement and attic) meets high-end standards.

The project, which began construction in 2004, features 47 departments and over 1,700 beds, serving residents from Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, and even neighboring Laos. The hospital is equipped with over 440 types of specialized medical equipment and is capable of handling 1,050 patient visits per day.

The hospital offers a wide range of advanced medical services, including:

• Open-heart surgery, adrenal gland surgery
• Endoscopic surgery for various cancers (esophageal, gastric, lung)
• Brain and spinal cord surgery
• Laser eye surgery (LASIK, Phaco)
• Cochlear implant surgery
• Vascular intervention (cardiac, cerebral, hepatic)
• And many other specialized procedures.
