The TechneauSphère Grease and Sludge Separator features a new-generation design centered around an independent internal separation assembly. The core of the system is completely independent from the main separator tank, allowing the 3-in-1 internal assembly, including the partition, coalescing device, and closure device, to be fully removed for inspection and cleaning.
This removable assembly can be taken out of the tank without creating a risk of downstream discharge during maintenance. The Coalesceau structure is specifically engineered to be self-supporting and resistant to cleaning operations using high-pressure washing equipment.
This design makes routine inspection and maintenance of the commercial kitchen grease separator considerably more convenient.
Protective Casing
The protective casing supplied with the separator provides several practical advantages:
- Prevents the separator from filling with water during outdoor storage.
- Protects internal components during installation and ballast operations.
- Allows installation directly in green areas.
- Protects the system during construction and installation activities.
Integrated Central Sludge Trap
A central sludge trap is positioned in line with the access chamber, facilitating visual inspection and allowing the entire sludge trap to be cleaned from a single suction point.
This arrangement simplifies maintenance and helps operators remove accumulated heavy solids without requiring access to multiple points within the separator.

For nominal sizes NS 1–20, the TechneauSphère separator features:
- Recyclable polyethylene tank manufactured using the rotational moulding process.
- PVC or nitrile rubber inlet and outlet connections.
- Sludge trap designed to retain heavy solids.
- Walkable polyethylene cover secured with stainless-steel screws and supplied with a gasket.
The polyethylene construction provides a lightweight yet durable solution for grease and sludge separation, while the rotationally moulded tank offers good resistance to corrosion and the operating environment typically associated with wastewater from commercial kitchens.
