The Yooksong Firefighting Foam Concentrate is a high-performance extinguishing agent developed for combating flammable and combustible liquid fires (Class B fires). Available in both AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) and AR-AFFF (Alcohol Resistant AFFF) formulations with 3% and 6% concentrate options, the product is suitable for a broad range of industrial fire protection applications.

AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) is designed for hydrocarbon fuel fires such as gasoline, diesel, crude oil, aviation fuel, and petroleum products. When mixed with water, the concentrate produces a foam blanket together with a thin aqueous film that rapidly spreads across the fuel surface, suppressing vapors, cooling the fuel, and preventing reignition.

For facilities handling polar solvents and alcohol-based liquids, AR-AFFF (Alcohol Resistant AFFF) provides additional protection through a polymer membrane that resists foam destruction caused by water-miscible fuels while maintaining effective fire suppression performance.

The foam concentrate is manufactured using environmentally compatible ingredients including hydrocarbon surfactants, fluorocarbon compounds, natural polymers, and solvents, providing excellent extinguishing performance together with good storage stability. The product demonstrates excellent penetration capability and can be proportioned using either freshwater or seawater, making it suitable for both onshore and offshore fire protection systems.

Depending on system design, the concentrate is proportioned at either 3% or 6% using a foam proportioning device such as a foam bladder tank, pressure proportioner, or line proportioner before being discharged through foam chambers, foam monitors, foam sprinklers, or other foam discharge devices.

Certified by the Korea Fire Institute (KFI), the foam concentrate is suitable for use in fixed foam systems, mobile foam units, and industrial fire protection installations requiring reliable extinguishing performance against flammable liquid hazards.
