Float Valves

Float valves are an important type of industrial valve used in water supply systems for buildings and industrial facilities. They automatically control the opening and closing of the water flow to ensure that sufficient water is always available for continuous operation. When the water level in the storage tank drops, the float valve signals the pump to start, or simply opens the valve to allow water to refill the tank. Once the tank reaches the required level, the valve closes automatically in the case of a mechanical float valve. Float valves for small pipelines are typically manufactured in brass or stainless steel with threaded connections, and are available as either mechanical float valves or electric float valves. For larger pipelines, cast iron flanged float valves are commonly supplied as either hydraulic pilot-operated float valves or electric float valves. Controlling the water level in storage tanks is essential to ensure a continuous and reliable water supply for buildings and all types of water supply systems, making float valves an indispensable component. Float valves must offer high quality and dependable performance to ensure a constant water supply and to prevent water shortages that could disrupt the operation of hydraulic systems.
