The Flamco Flamcomat G3 Double Pump Pressurisation & Degassing System is a fully integrated solution for automatic pressure maintenance, expansion control, water make-up, and system degassing in closed-loop heating (Heating) and chilled water (Cooling) installations designed in accordance with EN 12828.

The system combines automatic expansion vessels with a dual pump control unit, allowing expansion water to be stored while automatically maintaining system pressure throughout heating and cooling cycles. Controlled by advanced microprocessor electronics, the Flamcomat G3 continuously monitors system conditions and automatically adjusts pressure to ensure stable and efficient HVAC operation.

The expansion vessel is selected according to the total system water volume and the heating or cooling capacity of the installation. Thanks to the Flamcomat operating principle, the effective expansion capacity can reach approximately 80% of the vessel volume, reducing the influence of static height and making the system particularly suitable for large buildings and high-rise installations where conventional diaphragm expansion vessels may become impractical.

The integrated Turbo Degassing technology enables rapid removal of dissolved and entrained air during commissioning, while the continuous degassing function can remain active during normal operation to maintain optimum water quality, improve heat transfer, reduce corrosion, and minimize pump cavitation.

The intelligent SPC controller provides an intuitive graphical display showing operating conditions, alarms, and system status in a clear and user-friendly format. The controller supports 20 selectable languages and communicates through an RS-485 interface for integration with Building Management Systems (BMS) and central monitoring platforms.

The system supports several operating modes, including Mono, Duo (load-dependent), automatic alternating operation, and combined operation, allowing flexible control of the dual pumps according to system demand.

The Flamcomat G3 has been engineered with a compact hydraulic layout requiring approximately 50% less installation space than previous generations. Its modular beam construction protects internal components during transportation and simplifies installation in confined plant rooms. The second pump can be installed on either side of the unit, providing additional flexibility during system design and installation. Owing to the hydraulic connection design, the expansion vessel can be positioned virtually anywhere around the Flamcomat unit.

The system is suitable for glycol-based heat transfer fluids containing up to 50% glycol and complies with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
