The Nexus Passim Differential Pressure Control Valve (DPCV) is designed to automatically maintain a constant differential pressure within heating and cooling circuits. Installed in the return line, the valve works together with a partner balancing valve such as the Nexus Fluctus or Nexus Vertex through a capillary tube connection. As system pressure changes, the internal diaphragm automatically adjusts the valve opening to maintain the preset differential pressure, ensuring stable flow through terminal units and control valves.
By maintaining constant differential pressure, the Nexus Passim eliminates overflow, improves control valve authority, and significantly reduces flow noise caused by excessive differential pressure across FCUs, radiator thermostats, two-way control valves, and other hydronic components. The valve is available in DN15–DN50 with threaded connections and is an ideal solution for chilled water and heating systems requiring precise differential pressure control.
