The Belimo AHK Series Electronic Fail-Safe Linear Actuators are engineered to provide precise linear motion and dependable fail-safe operation for HVAC control valves and other linear control applications. Delivering an output force of 450 N (101 lbf), the AHK Series is suitable for both new installations and replacement projects requiring accurate positioning and reliable long-term performance.
Utilizing Belimo's patented Electronic Fail-Safe technology, the actuator automatically moves to a predefined safe position in the event of an unexpected power failure. Unlike conventional spring-return actuators, the fail-safe position can be freely configured anywhere between 0% and 100%, providing greater flexibility for modern HVAC control strategies and critical building automation systems.
Belimo's patented control management technology continuously monitors actuator operation and prevents unnecessary actuator movement during short-term power interruptions. This intelligent functionality minimizes unnecessary system changes, reduces mechanical wear, and helps maintain stable HVAC operation.
The AHK Series is available with stroke lengths of approximately 4, 8, or 12 inches, enabling the actuator to accommodate a wide variety of valve sizes and linear motion applications.
