The Belimo GK Series Electronic Fail-Safe Actuators are engineered for critical HVAC air control applications where dependable operation and programmable fail-safe functionality are essential. Using Belimo's patented Electronic Fail-Safe technology, the actuator automatically drives the damper to a predefined safety position during an unexpected power failure, ensuring reliable protection for building ventilation and life safety systems.
Unlike conventional mechanical spring return actuators, the GK Series allows users to freely select the fail-safe position anywhere between 0% and 100%, providing greater flexibility for modern HVAC control strategies and building automation systems.
Belimo's patented control management technology continuously monitors actuator operation and eliminates unnecessary actuator movement during short power interruptions. This intelligent operation minimizes unwanted system changes, reduces mechanical wear, and helps maintain stable HVAC performance during temporary power disturbances.
With a 40 Nm (360 in-lb) torque output, the GK Series is designed for large air dampers up to approximately 90 ft².
