For electronics component manufacturing facilities, fire protection systems are not merely safety installations required by regulations. They also play an important role in protecting production lines, high-value technology equipment, and the continuous operation of the entire factory.

With continuous operating requirements, high equipment density, and stringent technical specifications, electronics manufacturing projects place demanding requirements on the quality, reliability, and integration of their fire protection systems.

For Phase 1 of the V-PJT Project, PGTECH supplied more than 20,000 FESCO – PARATECH fire protection products from South Korea, contributing to the completion of the automatic sprinkler system for one of Samsung's large-scale electronics manufacturing complexes in Vietnam.

Previously, PGTECH also supplied FESCO – PARATECH fire protection equipment for Samsung SEV Factory in Bac Ninh, Samsung SEMV Factory in Thai Nguyen, Samsung SEHC Factory in Ho Chi Minh City, and Samsung R&D Center in Hanoi. These projects demonstrate PGTECH's experience in supplying coordinated fire protection equipment for Samsung's facilities in Vietnam.

Project Overview

The V-PJT Phase 1 Project is invested by Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. (SEVT) and is located at Lots CN-11 & 12, Yen Binh Industrial Park, Van Xuan Ward, Thai Nguyen Province.

The project forms part of Samsung's large-scale electronics component manufacturing complex in Vietnam, where quality, safety, schedule, and technical management requirements are strictly controlled throughout construction and operation.

For this project, PGTECH supplied more than 20,000 FESCO – PARATECH fire protection products, including:

• Upright sprinkler heads
• Pendent sprinkler heads
• Sprinkler flexible hoses
• FAVB DN150 alarm valves
• DN150 deluge valves
• Other coordinated components for the automatic fire protection system

The supply of multiple equipment categories within an integrated system helps ensure that the sprinkler network can meet the design requirements of different functional areas while providing consistency during installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance.

Why FESCO – PARATECH Solutions Are Suitable for the V-PJT Project?

Electronics manufacturing facilities typically feature large production areas, specialized technical zones, and a high density of advanced equipment. As a result, sprinkler systems must be carefully coordinated and capable of providing rapid response and reliable performance throughout the facility's operating life.

For the V-PJT Project, FESCO upright and pendent sprinklers were selected according to the installation requirements of different areas, supporting the required water distribution pattern specified by the fire protection design.

Sprinkler flexible hoses provide greater flexibility when connecting sprinkler heads to the main piping system. They are particularly useful in areas with suspended technical ceilings or finished ceilings, while also supporting more convenient installation, adjustment, and maintenance.

In addition, the FAVB DN150 alarm valve and DN150 deluge valve are important components of the automatic fire protection system. They contribute to monitoring, controlling, and activating water delivery under designated fire protection system operating conditions.

The coordinated use of these components within the same fire protection solution helps improve overall system reliability and supports the continuous operating requirements of an industrial electronics manufacturing environment.
