Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV) Plant Project in Yen Phong Industrial Park, Bac Ninh

Following the supply of FESCO Deluge Valve solutions for the Samsung SEMV plant project in Thai Nguyen, PGTECH continued to provide 18,000 mm sprinkler flexible hose assemblies, sprinkler flexible connections, flexible sprinkler hoses, and fire sprinklers from FESCO for the Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV) plant in Yen Phong Industrial Park, Bac Ninh.

Sprinkler flexible hose assemblies, flexible connections, and flexible drop hoses provide a practical alternative to traditional rigid piping connections in automatic sprinkler systems. They can help simplify installation, reduce labor requirements, and provide greater flexibility during sprinkler head positioning and installation.

Project Overview

The Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV) plant in Bac Ninh received its investment license in 2008. Located in Yen Phong 1 Industrial Park, Yen Phong District, Bac Ninh Province, the facility specializes in manufacturing components and assembling mobile devices.

The project has an investment value of approximately US$9.3 billion and covers an area of around 110 hectares. Bac Ninh has received the largest share of Samsung's investment in Vietnam, accounting for approximately 49% of the group's total investment in the country.

Samsung's presence has contributed significantly to the development of Bac Ninh's industrial sector, attracting numerous supporting enterprises and strengthening the province's position as an important FDI and electronics manufacturing hub in Vietnam.

Samsung's investment in Vietnam currently includes six manufacturing facilities and one R&D center. SEV in Bac Ninh and SEVT in Thai Nguyen are among Samsung's largest mobile device manufacturing facilities worldwide, while SEHC in Ho Chi Minh City is one of Samsung's major consumer electronics manufacturing facilities in Southeast Asia.

For the SEV Bac Ninh project, PGTECH supplied FESCO sprinkler flexible hose assemblies, flexible sprinkler connections, flexible drop hoses, and sprinkler heads for the automatic fire sprinkler system.

These flexible connection solutions offer greater installation flexibility compared with conventional rigid connections, particularly when connecting sprinkler heads to branch piping. They can help simplify installation work while maintaining reliable system operation.
