Meiko Vietnam Electronics Factory (Japan) in Hanoi

Meiko Electronics Vietnam, a major Japanese FDI project, is a state-of-the-art facility specializing in the production of electronic printed circuit boards (PCBs) and the assembly of electronic components. With a total investment of $300 million and an anticipated annual revenue of $1.7 billion, the factory is a significant contributor to the Vietnamese economy. PGTECH was a key supplier for this project, providing automated control solutions to ensure the factory's operational efficiency.

Founded in 1975 in Kanagawa, Japan, Meiko has grown to become a world leader in PCB production and electronic component assembly. The group now operates four plants in Japan, two in China, and one in Vietnam, along with numerous research centers and representative offices worldwide.

Located in Thach That - Quoc Oai Industrial Park, the Meiko Vietnam plant spans 170,000 m² and includes facilities for PCB manufacturing, electronic component assembly (EMS), and dormitories for its 7,000 employees.

The PCB manufacturing plant, a three-story, 200m by 100m concrete structure, began operations in 2017. PGTECH provided a crucial part of the automated control system for this project, including:
