The Flamco Airfix P Expansion Vessel is a vertical expansion vessel specifically designed for domestic potable water and domestic hot water systems, providing reliable pressure maintenance by compensating for the thermal expansion of water. The vessel helps protect water heaters, storage tanks, pumps, valves, and piping systems from excessive pressure caused by water temperature fluctuations.
The Airfix P series is available in vertical models from 400 litres to 1,000 litres, including 400L, 600L, 800L, and 1,000L, making it ideal for larger domestic water systems serving hotels, hospitals, office buildings, residential developments, schools, and commercial facilities.
Designed for maximum working pressures up to 10 bar and maximum operating temperatures of 70°C, the Airfix P series provides reliable long-term pressure control for potable hot water systems.
The vessels are certified for potable water applications with WRAS and EC Certification, and are manufactured in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU, ensuring compliance with stringent European quality and safety standards.
