ECOTHERM Electric Clean Steam Generators are used in hospitals or industry when the primary available energy is electricity. The clean steam is generated by an electric resistor heating flange inside the boiler shell. The units are skid-mounted complete with feed water tank water treatment and control panel.
The complete factory pre-piping and wiring ensures quick and easy installation on site. The clean steam is generated by electrical energy, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and aligning with global sustainability trends.
Clean steam is produced by electric heating elements integrated into a flange within the boiler shell. This system is used for applications such as laundry and sterilization in industrial and commercial settings (e.g., sterilizing dishes in hotels, pharmaceutical plants, food processing). It offers a more direct and efficient alternative to "black boilers," which would require a separate external heat exchanger to produce clean steam for application.
Clean steam generators are used wherever plant steam, generated in fired steam boilers, is not suitable. Due to the necessity of chemical dosing and the black material of the fired steam boilers, plant steam is not applicable for hygienic purposes.
