ECOTHERM electric hot water boiler® with heating element, up to 30 MW, skid mounted and pre-installed
ECOTHERM electric hot water boilers are used when the only primary energy source available is electricity or to convert excess electrical energy into heat in a system called “Power to Heat”. Electrical energy is converted into thermal energy by individual screw-type heating elements that are individually replaceable for easy maintenance. Each boiler is pre-wired, pre-installed and skid-mounted for quick and easy on-site installation. Besides standard models, ECOTHERM also provides individual solutions in terms of size, design, voltage, capacity and controller.

The ECOTHERM electric hot water boiler is equipped with an industry-standard control panel with a solid metal housing. Each boiler has a main input switch as well as fuses and power contactors for each heating element. Depending on the capacity, the Hot Water Boiler is controlled by a 3-stage intelligent controller or by a freely programmable industrial microprocessor controller with touch screen HMI and exchange capability. data via BUS system or external start/stop.

Dashboard
The ECOTHERM electric steam system is equipped with its own logic controller to ensure constant control and monitoring of steam output performance at all times. Each boiler has a main input switch as well as fuses and power contactors for each heating element. The control panel is equipped with a modern microprocessor controller with a touch screen HMI to control and display all the equipment provided. All components in the company's control panels are electrically and wiring tested.

The ECOTHERM electric clean steam generator is used in hospitals or industrial areas when the main source of energy available is electricity. Clean steam is generated by the resistance heating flange inside the boiler shell. These units are mounted on skid frames complete with water treatment unit, feed water tank and control panel. The complete piping and wiring system is pre-assembled, ensuring quick and easy on-site installation. Clean steam is generated using electrical energy.

1- Clean steam generator: produces clean, sterile steam by using high-quality stainless steel materials. Generate steam using electrical energy. Includes stainless steel tank, removable heating bundle and all necessary connections for safety and control.
2- High pressure blowdown control: blowdown of the boiler where deposits are generated, by means of a timer controlled blowdown valve.
3- High pressure surface blowdown control (TDS control) continuously measures the conductivity of the water just below the water surface. If the value is too high, the valve will open until the measured value drops below the set point.
4- Pressure control: pressure will be set mechanically (by mechanical pressure control valve) or electrically by pressure transmitter (control panel) and electrically operated valve .
5- Steam supply: clean steam outlet port from the clean steam generator
6- Water supply tank: prepares boiler feed water, collects condensate, preheats feed water
7- Overflow pipe: protection from rising water
8- Resistance heating flange
9- Air exhaust and oxygen release valve (outside the building): eliminate exhaust port.
10- Level control: to keep the water level in the tank constant, a level control system is needed. In addition, protection against low water and high water is also installed.
11- Preheat feed water To protect the boiler against high temperature differences and thermal stress, the feed water needs to be preheated by steam injection.

13- Boiler feed water: feed water source connected to feed water pump and boiler
14- Condensate return recovers condensate from various consuming devices, e.g. steam pipe drain points, heat exchangers, washing machines.
15- Discharge cooler to cool hot water from bottom and surface discharge outlets.
16- Water sample cooler For daily analysis of feed water and boiler water, hot water samples must be cooled with a water sample cooler.
17- Feed water pump set: Vertical multistage centrifugal feed water pump provides feed water to the steam generator. The pump is designed according to the steam pressure and maximum flow of the boiler.
18- Main control panel regulates all independent steam generation and control of safety devices

ECOTHERM supplies 2 Electric Steam Boilers with a capacity of 1344kW, each boiler is mounted on a skid frame with a feed water tank (4000L), blowdown cooler, steam distributor, control cabinet (8m long), reverse osmosis with 3 4000L tanks, complete piping, wiring and insulation. The steam equipment is built in compliance with all current European regulations and is approved by TÜV. Additionally, a virtual reality model of the factory was created with live data for the customer. The VR model can be viewed online by scanning the QR code.
