The Belimo DN40 (40A) Electric Ball Control Valve is a 2-way threaded Characterized Control Valve (CCV) engineered for precise modulating and On/Off control in HVAC systems. By combining the tight shut-off capability of a ball valve with Belimo’s characterized disc technology, the valve delivers an equal percentage flow characteristic for highly accurate flow and temperature control.

The valve is ideal for air handling units, fan coil systems, heating and cooling coils, and VAV reheat applications.

2-Way Threaded Characterized Control Valve (CCV)

The Belimo DN40 Electric Ball Control Valve represents a significant advancement in HVAC control valve technology. The valve combines the superior shut-off performance of a ball valve with a specially designed characterized disc that ensures an equal percentage flow characteristic throughout the operating range.

Unlike conventional control valves, the CCV provides control performance comparable to globe valves of the same size while maintaining the benefits of ball valve technology, including compact construction, low pressure loss, excellent reliability, and extended service life.
