The Belimo TF Series Spring Return Damper Actuators are specifically designed for controlling small air dampers in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. With an output torque of 2.5 Nm (22 in-lb), the TF Series is suitable for dampers up to approximately 5.5 ft², making it an ideal solution for compact ventilation applications.
As an integral part of HVAC systems, the actuator regulates the opening and closing of air dampers to control airflow throughout the building. It allows fresh outdoor air to enter the ventilation system when required or closes the damper to maintain indoor air conditions and improve energy efficiency.
The integrated mechanical spring return mechanism automatically returns the damper to its predetermined fail-safe position whenever power is interrupted, ensuring reliable operation and enhanced safety during emergency conditions.
The TF Series includes TF24, TF24-3, and TF24-S models for 24 V On/Off control, the TF24-SR model for 24 V modulating control, and TF230 and TF230-S models for 100–240 V AC On/Off control. This wide range of models enables flexible selection for various building automation and HVAC control systems.
