The Belimo NF Series Spring Return Damper Actuators are designed to provide reliable control of air dampers in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. As an integral part of modern ventilation systems, these actuators regulate the opening and closing of dampers to control the flow of fresh and return air, helping maintain indoor comfort and energy-efficient building operation.
The NF Series incorporates a mechanical spring return mechanism that automatically returns the damper to its predetermined fail-safe position whenever power is interrupted, ensuring dependable operation for both normal HVAC control and safety-related ventilation applications.
Featuring Belimo's MFT (Multi-Function Technology), the NF Series offers flexible configuration to suit a wide range of control systems and building automation requirements. Compared with earlier actuator generations, the compact housing is approximately 25% smaller, while delivering improved performance, lower power consumption, and faster operating speeds.
The product range includes NFA and NFA-S2 models with 24–240 V AC/DC power supply, NF24A and NF24A-S2 models for 24 V On/Off control, and the NF24A-SR model for 24 V modulating control. This variety allows engineers to select the most suitable actuator for different HVAC applications.
With a 10 Nm (90 in-lb) torque output, the NF Series is well suited for medium-sized air dampers used in office buildings, hotels, hospitals, shopping centres, industrial facilities, and other commercial HVAC installations.
