The Belimo FSNF Series Fire & Smoke Damper Actuators are engineered to provide fast, reliable control of fire and smoke dampers in HVAC life safety systems. Manufactured by Belimo USA, the FSNF Series is specifically designed for UL555S fire and smoke damper applications, helping protect occupants and property by preventing the spread of smoke and fire through ventilation systems.
As an essential component of HVAC fire protection systems, the actuator controls the opening and closing of fire and smoke dampers during normal ventilation operation while automatically returning the damper to its fail-safe position during emergency conditions. This rapid response supports smoke management strategies and helps maintain safe evacuation routes within commercial and industrial buildings.
The FSNF Series delivers 8 Nm (70 in-lb) of output torque and is suitable for dampers up to approximately 12 ft² at 350°F (177°C). The actuator rotates through 95° and features an integrated position indicator displaying the complete operating range from 0° to 95°, allowing quick visual confirmation of damper position.
The product range includes FSNF24 US and FSNF24-S US for 24 V applications, FSNF120 US and FSNF120-S US for 120 V, and FSNF230 US and FSNF230-S US for 230 V systems. Models are available in both On/Off and modulating control versions, enabling seamless integration with building automation and smoke control systems.
With an operating time of less than 15 seconds and a mechanical spring return time of less than 15 seconds, the FSNF Series provides one of the fastest response times available for fire and smoke damper applications.
