The Belimo FSTF Series Fire & Smoke Damper Actuators are specifically designed for compact fire and smoke dampers used in HVAC life safety systems. Manufactured by Belimo USA, the FSTF Series delivers reliable performance for UL555S fire and smoke control applications, helping protect occupants and property in commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, hotels, airports, and industrial facilities.
As part of an HVAC ventilation system, the actuator controls the opening and closing of fire and smoke dampers during normal operation while automatically returning the damper to its fail-safe position during emergency conditions. This helps prevent the spread of smoke and fire through ventilation ductwork and supports compliance with life safety standards.
The FSTF Series provides 2 Nm (18 in-lb) of output torque and is suitable for dampers up to approximately 1.5 ft² at 250°F (121°C). The actuator rotates through 95° and incorporates an integrated position indicator displaying the full operating range from 0° to 95°, allowing quick visual verification of damper position.
The product range includes FSTF24 US and FSTF24-S US for 24 V applications, FSTF120 US and FSTF120-S US for 120 V, and FSTF230 US and FSTF230-S US for 230 V systems. Models are available in both On/Off and modulating control versions to accommodate different building automation and smoke control requirements.
With an operating time of less than 75 seconds and a mechanical spring return time of less than 25 seconds, the FSTF Series delivers dependable fail-safe performance while remaining compact and cost-effective.
