The BEA LZR®-P220 utilizes advanced Laser Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology to provide highly accurate pedestrian protection around automatic revolving doors.
Its high-resolution laser curtain continuously monitors the hazardous closing area, helping prevent accidental contact between users and moving door panels while ensuring safe and efficient door operation.
The sensor employs a single high-resolution laser curtain with digitally adjustable tilt angles to optimize the protection zone.
Key performance features include:
- 274 measurement points every 66 ms
- Digitally adjustable tilt angles of 0°, 2°, 4°, and 6°
- High detection accuracy
- Reliable pedestrian protection
The detection field can be configured to match different revolving door installations.
Features include:
- Adjustable detection width from 10 cm to 100 cm
- Maximum mounting height of 5 m
- Customizable detection field using reference points (6 points every 10 cm at a mounting height of 2.5 m)
This flexibility allows precise adaptation to various door dimensions and installation requirements.
Thanks to Time-of-Flight laser technology, the sensor is unaffected by reflections from different floor materials, ensuring consistent detection performance regardless of floor finish.
The LZR®-P220 is designed for demanding indoor and outdoor applications.
