3-Way Characterized Control Valve (CCV)
The Belimo 3-Way Characterized Control Valve combines the superior shut-off performance of a ball valve with a specially designed characterized disc that ensures an equal percentage flow characteristic.
This innovative design delivers precise control performance comparable to globe valves while maintaining the compact size, reliability, and low pressure drop advantages of ball valve technology.
The valve is available with either spring return or non-spring return actuators and is suitable for a broad range of HVAC applications, including:
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Heating coils
- Cooling coils
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Unit ventilators
- VAV reheat coils
- Hydronic heating and cooling systems
- Commercial HVAC systems
Valve Construction
The valve body is manufactured using high-quality materials, including stainless steel and chrome-plated brass components, depending on application requirements and project specifications.
The 3-way valve configuration is suitable for both mixing and diverting service applications and can be integrated into a wide variety of HVAC hydronic systems.
Available Sizes
The Belimo 3-Way Characterized Control Valve (CCV) is available in sizes ranging from DN15 to DN50, including DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, and DN50. This size range makes the valve suitable for terminal units, fan coil systems, heating and cooling coils, and medium-capacity hydronic distribution systems.
